Sentosa Palace
About
A small resort in the interior of Kelantan, and the reasons it is small.
Air Terjun Gunung Stongjust minutes away
Sentosa Palace is a small chalet resort at Dabong, in the interior of Kelantan, close to Gunung Stong.
There are four rooms, and they are all the same: an air-conditioned room with a queen bed, a writing desk, large windows onto the garden trees and its own bathroom with a water heater shower. They sit in small blue-and-white chalets around a garden, behind a white fence, with the Gunung Stong hills in view from the grounds.
Dabong is a working town rather than a resort town. The market is a market, the railway is how people get to work, and the guides who take you up the mountain grew up at the bottom of it. We think that is the better version of the place, and we would rather point you at it than build a copy inside the gate.

Rooms owned by investors
Several of the rooms are individually owned. An owner buys a specific room, the resort runs it, and the monthly return is settled per room from what that room actually earned — a management fee capped at RM1,500, and everything left after it to the owner. Nothing is pooled and nothing is averaged, so an owner can see the nights their own room sold.
Owners have their own sign-in, where each month is shown room by room with the fee and the split that produced it.
